To KNOW That You KNOW
Sometimes I wish I could see You
Walking by my side
Sometimes I wish I could see You catch
All the tears I've cried
Sometimes I wish I could
Hear Your voice speak, so clear
Then maybe I wouldn't fall into doubt
When I can't feel You near
You are an invisible God,
And sometimes You can seem to be as distant
As the furthest star
But I know that I know You are not
And although I can't see You
I can feel You in my Heart
You have remained faithful, and never have
Let go of my hand
Somehow, through everything and in everything
You have given me the strength to stand
Sometimes I don't know how I get through
And this is why I know that I know
Because I would have never made it
This far without You
When I feel I am slipping, Your hand reaches
So that I never slip too far
You bring comfort and peace
When fears begin to war against my heart
I am standing at the crossroads
Looking to the right and to the left
Then I hear Your soft voice behind me saying
Just Look to Me, Look straight ahead
Do not sway; do not turn
Just stand still and stand firm
Stand still and know I am God
Be courageous and bold
Stand still and trust that I have
Everything under control
When doubt creeps in, and discouragement
Weighs heavy upon your heart
Do not forget who I AM
And remember who, My WORD says that you are
You are My child, and I love you so
Hold on to your faith
And KNOW that you know
That I am God
That you are loved
Will keep you going
Even when things are dark
And you cannot see
Even when the storms are raging,
Keep your eyes focused ONLY on Me
If you begin to sink,
My hand will be there to lift you up
All you need to do now My child, is TRUST
Trust ME, I have already brought you so far
Trust ME, I will finish in you, what I started
In your heart
I will remain faithful to you;
I have not failed you and will not
You know that you know
Now Stand still, and know
That I am your Father God
Your security is in ME
I AM your Hope,
Have Faith in what you have yet
To see and stand firm in what you believe
You know that you know
That I am real and true
You know that you know
That I will never let go of you
I know you have to Trust Me now
Like you never have before
But I want you to know that
I LOVE YOU,
Of that you can be sure!!
