Grant a quiet spirit that I might give You rest.

Give tears of gratitude to refresh You.

Fashion a thoughtful heart to ponder Your loveliness.

Create in me a clean heart for Your countenance to shine.

Prepare my lamp to receive Your words and hear Your voice.

Carve out a table where we might sup together.

Cause all manner of fruits to be laid up for Your taste.

Mold me responsive to Your every desire.

Make me an altar of unceasing worship to You.
