Soon, I will see Him

I will see Him as He is

Everything I am now will end

And a new day will begin

For I will be changed in

A twinkling of an eye

Every tear will be wiped away

And every pain, left behind

We know that our troubles

Last only for a moment

If we stop and look through

The window of Hope

And understand that our present reality

Is just a blink, in the light of Eternity

I will gaze through the window of Hope

And persevere through this test

Because I know I am just caught between

The now and the not yet

Not yet, am I in His true likeness

But now I am, clothed in His righteousness

Not yet, am I without tears and pain

But now I am, cleansed from my sin and shame

I know it won't be long now

I will see Jesus, in a little while

I will look through the window of Hope

While I have to go through this trial

I will look through the window of Hope

And gaze upon the beauty of Jesus' face

I will let His Light warm me, as I bathe

In His Love and Grace

Darkness may be all about me

But the Window of Hope lets me

Have a glimpse into, the Light of Eternity

To remind me once more

That Hope gives us the strength

And a purpose, to keep going on for

Despite the circumstance

Despite the pain that comes our way

The Window of Hope

Lets the Son shine in

To strengthen our Faith

So if you need Hope

Ask God to show you the Window

Ask Him to let you take a

Glimpse into what awaits us

Ask Him for the strength to press on

And not give up, when the going gets tough

Nothing happens, without a reason

In life there will always be

A change in the seasons

Throughout every season, I know this

There is a Window of Hope in

Every situation that Life brings

The window of Hope enables us to see

Just a little glimpse to what awaits us

On the other side of Eternity

Everything we are going through,

At this moment in time

Someday will be all over, in just a
