These papers are geared for getting down to the basics. They are a walk through the Word & cover many of the things that the Lord deals with us about as we come out from man's religious systems, and begin to question and examine by the Word of God where we really are in our spiritual journey. The purpose of sharing them here, is in the hope that some may find help and encouragement as they are drawn to leave the familiar and step out in faith, following Christ. We must undergo a complete overhaul of our attitudes, our mindsets, and our expectations... allowing the Holy Spirit to renew our minds, renovating our inner man. Much of what we have been taught... we must let go of. But the Lord never takes away, without giving us something infinitely better to take it's place. Great intellect can be more of a hindrance than a help in the pursuit of spiritual growth. God desires a humble and contrite spirit in man. "No flesh shall glory in HIS presence." May we lay down our 'self-life'... may we seek to know God with our whole heart... may we make use of the time left us, preparing our hearts to receive our KING!
